The famous Belgian artist René Magritte made a painting called ' This is not a pipe'. In that way he showed us in a direct and simple way what abstraction is. Why give a painting this title while it clearly shows a pipe? Because the painting is not a pipe but a painting (you can't smoke it)! In other words: the painter abstracted his theme and made in that way a new reality. In short this is the process that every artist uses. And that is why we logicaly came to the conclusion that all art is abstract.
